🚀 Enhanced Community Space
We're excited to announce new channels in Slack and the addition of community moderators and IncDev Faculty, Neil Heller and Ivy Vann, who are here to help activate this space and make it a better resource for everyone.
Here's how to get started:
- Introduce yourself in #introductions if you haven't yet
- Ask a question or leave a comment in a channel you want to explore more
- Add yourself to your regional channel - this is the start of a member directory to spark more regional and local connections
🎯 Boot Camp Starting Next Week
Our next boot camp cohort launches next week! We intentionally keep these groups small so you can get hands-on support with your project development.

🌲 Portland Field Trip: Don't Miss This!
🌲 Portland Field Trip: Don't Miss This!
Our national field trip to Portland, Oregon is shaping up to be something truly special. Over three days, you'll explore spaces and walk the streets with the developers, planners, and community leaders who are actually making incremental development happen. You'll get the behind-the-scenes story of how these projects came to life, including challenges overcome and creative wins.
Some of the highlights include:
- Tour developments by our own faculty member Neil Heller
- Explore co-housing units by Eli Spevak
- Visit projects by local "farmer" Rees Bittenger, who has been cultivating his neighborhood with diverse housing types and creative lot splits
- Join JonJon the Happy Urbanist for insights on urban development
- Experience Coach Balto's Bike Bus firsthand
